I have been involved in climate action my whole life. In elementary school, my class won our recycling contest every year, 1st through 6th grade, and every year I rallied my classmates and got them pumped up and contributing. I also joined a program called SWPPP, which stands for stormwater pollution prevention plan, where we made physical changes to our campus to decrease the amount of runoff entering our storm drains. I have also been involved in numerous beach cleanups. This is the next step of my life in climate action. With this blog, I aim to spread awareness of the climate crisis, explore ways of reducing our carbon footprints, and find ways to help our planet.
We need to save this planet from climate change. It is the only hope for humankind as well as the other amazing species that inhabit these lands. We must act now before it is too late.
